Results
The AUTOMATA project is set to deliver transformative results in the field of archaeological digitization and cultural heritage preservation.
The AUTOMATA project will deliver an AI-driven robotic system for the automated digitization of ceramics and lithics, creating enriched 3D models with archaeometric data.
AUTOMATA will also develop advanced algorithms for integrating 2D and 3D representations, alongside a crowdsourcing platform to foster collaborative digitization and knowledge-sharing. Outputs will be compatible with the ECCCH Cloud, ensuring open access to data and supporting innovative applications in cultural heritage, empowering smaller institutions to adopt advanced preservation techniques.
As the project progresses, these concrete outputs will be documented here.
