Niccolò Mazzucco

Niccolò Mazzucco (Florence, 1984) specializes in the study of the transition from hunter-gatherering to the first agricultural systems during the Holocene. After completing a PhD at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he undertook numerous postdoctoral positions in France and Spain. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Pisa, where he leads several research and excavation projects both in Italy and abroad, particularly in the western Mediterranean (Spain, Italy) and in the Near and Middle East (Jordan, Oman).
