Kai Salas Rossenbach

Holder of a M.A. in archeology from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, Kai Salas Rossenbach has over 20 years of experience in the heritage sector. As a field archaeologist, he has participated in many research and training assignments in South America, in Arabian Peninsula and across Europe. Since 2011, he is Deputy Director for International Affairs at the French National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research. In this position, he has developed the policy on international scientific relations of the Institute and carried out assignments in over 30 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and coordinated many EU-funded projects and archaeological operations worldwide.
