Federico Cantini

Federico Cantini is Full Professor of Medieval Archaeology at the University of Pisa. He has carried out research on topics related to the economy (with particular attention to the production, circulation and consumption of pottery) and settlement, both urban and rural, in Tuscany (villas, churches, vici and castles), between Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. He is currently director of a project on Early Medieval royal and marquis courts in Lombard and Carolingian Italy.
