Carmen Beyrie

Carmen Beyrie is currently completing her second year of the Master’s degree in Archaeometry at the Bordeaux Montaigne University. Her academic background combines art history and scientific approaches to archaeology, with a particular interest in laboratory analyses and archaeometric data management.

She has gained experience through several laboratory internships at Archéosciences Bordeaux and PACEA, working on multidisciplinary sample analyses, radiocarbon databases, and data calibration. She has also participated in archaeological fieldwork on prehistoric and historic sites in France and Spain, including the Lower Pleistocene site of Orce (Andalusia).

In 2026, she joins the AUTOMATA project as a student contributor, where she is involved in the analysis of lithic sample from Corsica, within a collaborative research framework with INRAP partnership.
