AUTOMATA showcased at 9th INRAP Scientific and Technical Seminar (Chartres, 6-7 November 2025)
Amala Marx and Ariane Menu (INRAP) presented the project at the 9th Scientific and Technical Seminar on “IA et Innovations numériques: usages et enjeux en archéologie” (AI and Digital Innovations: Uses and Challenges in Archaeology) in Chartres, France
Their contribution, titled “Between Hostility and Enthusiasm: Opinions of the Archaeological Community on Digital Innovations in light of the European AUTOMATA Project”, opened up discussions about usages of AI in the Cultural Heritage community. Part of the presentation was also devoted to the outcomes of the AUTOMATA survey on the impact of advanced technologies on archaeological practices conducted by INRAP in early 2025.
The event was organised by Inrap together with the Archaeological Department of Chartres City.
